Haunted Houses
Have you evere wondered why you get chills whenever you walk into your friends creepy, old house?
Do you ask yourself if you just saw a ghost or if you're mental?
Well, these questions would be normal to ask if the house you or your friend live in is haunted.
A place where ghosts are said to be seen in is known as haunted, so if you see a ghost in your house now, you'll know why.
Haunted places, or houses in this case, are thought of as being inhabited by spirits that were familiar with the property when they were alive.
Supernatrual activity in homes or other places is thought to be associated with events like violence, murder, death, and even suicide, but that's not always the case, so you most likely shouldn't be afraid that the spirit roaming your hallways is a murder victim.
Even if these violent events could have happened in both ancient and more recent times, it is most likely that the nonliving being you keep seeing is not ready to leave the world yet, has forgotten to leave, or doesn't know they are dead.
If you are still positive on this whole "the-ghost-in-my-house-is-a-victim-of-murder" concept, then they are probably just trying to seek revenge on their killers, so no biggy.
Most religious views and cultures that have beliefs about ghosts just think that a soul, or essence of a human spirit, continue to exist even after they have died, so that silhouette of someone you keep seeing out of the corner of your eye is probably just continuing its existance in a different way, so don't be alarmed.
Philosophical views also believe that the spirits of people that are no longer alive are trapped in the places where their energy and memories are/were strongest too so ghosts really just want to stick around in a place where they had good memories of when they were alive.
Haunted places and houses are full of mysteries, but if you know the basics you will be able to keep peace between your ghostly friend, without you or it getting freaked out.
